24-Hour Study Room Becomes “The Last Resort”
Friday, August 29th, 2008
There’s a new look to Herrick Library’s 24-hour study room. Knowing that students may be working in the eleventh hour to complete a paper or other assignment, the library’s 24-hour study room has become “The Last Resort.”
We think that you will find “The Last Resort” more comfortable, with a couple of easy chairs, an area rug, a table, and some tropical plants. In keeping with the “resort” theme, two of the walls were painted and now include posters of resorts from around the world.
Herrick Library would like to thank Herrick staff member Dave Snyder for taking the initiative to make the 24-hour study space a more inviting place for our students.
Note that the access code for Herrick’s all-night study room is changing on Monday, September 1st, please contact John Dougherty by e-mail (dougherty@alfred.edu) for the new code.
