The staff of Herrick Memorial Library invites the Alfred community to join their group at Goodreads!

Goodreads is a social networking site for book lovers and also functions as a personal electronic bookshelf. You can browse titles, see what others are reading, read reviews, participate in a trivia quiz, or find new authors. Writing tools and forums are available for aspiring authors, which are a great resource for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) in November.

The Herrick staff is excited to have a place to interact with other book lovers and to host future read-alongs or other book-related activities.

How to join the Herrick Goodreads group:
To join the Herrick Goodreads group, you first need to create a Goodreads account.
* Go to Goodreads, and click on “Sign Up.”
* Once you have an account, go to the Groups link at the top of the page, and search for the “Herrick Memorial Library” group.
